Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and make a real impact on the roads of Stoke-on-Trent? We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Highways Operative to join our dynamic Highways Maintenance Team.
Responsibilities:
1. Repair Potholes: Deliver essential highway maintenance to keep our roads safe.
2. General Maintenance: Support with drainage, kerbing, and other essential tasks.
3. Commercial Projects: Assist with road markings, dropped crossings, and other revenue-generating activities.
4. Health & Safety: Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all.
5. Teamwork: Collaborate effectively within the team to meet project goals.
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience in highways or construction maintenance.
2. Knowledge of highway safety standards and practices.
3. A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
4. Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
