We are looking for a Project Manager to join our building services team at King's Mill Hospital, Mansfield.
Working as Project Manager – Mechanical and Electrical Bias to manage and deliver the building/construction elements of Capital, Lifecycle and Small Works projects from inception to completion including income generation work to time and budget, maintaining quality standards throughout.
You’ll:
1. Work with the Establishment team to ensure all works quotations are completed and returned within the Project related KPI and that Performance Management System time scales are met.
2. Pre-plan all works with relevant stakeholders and then liaise with all relevant parties including but not limited to Operations Managers, Estates Managers, Client, Trade Contractors, Consultants and other third parties to agree acceptable commencement dates for the works. Ensure access is available and the planned works do not compromise day-to-day operations and that works are delivered in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
3. Be responsible for the quality assurance of works aiming to handover defect-free and where required management of any remedial works. Once all works are satisfactorily completed ensure that works are signed off by the client. Review and authorize any subcontractor applications for payment.
4. Where required, support out of hours and weekend working in relation to projects that demand your level of management and resource, to be agreed with line manager.
We are looking for:
1. Technically qualified to a minimum of HNC (Electrical or Building Services) or relevant Degree.
2. Proven experience in the management of multi-disciplinary projects.
3. Desirable to hold a professional qualification in a building services or related discipline or Project Management.
4. SMSTS or IOSH H&S Managing Safely Certification.
5. Hold a CSCS card or equivalent.
