Attenborough Surgery are seeking a qualified and experienced clinical pharmacist to join our team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other health care professionals. This role is offered on a full or part-time basis depending on the successful candidate's situation.
Main duties of the job
* Providing primary support to general practice staff with regards to prescription and medication queries.
* Supporting the repeat prescription system (including EPS).
* Dealing with acute prescription requests, structured medication reviews, and medicines reconciliation on transfer of care.
* Support systems for safer prescribing and provide expertise in clinical medicines advice needs of patients in our single practice PCN.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* CPPE Clinical Pharmacist training pathways
Experience
* Enrolled in, or have qualified from, an approved 18-month training pathway or equivalent, that equips the clinical pharmacist to practice and prescribe safely and effectively in a primary care setting (for example, the CPPE Clinical Pharmacist training pathways).
* Expertise in a chronic disease area, e.g., diabetes or asthma management, and could run chronic disease clinics.
