The governors, staff, parents and children of The Meadows Primary School in Oswestry are seeking to appoint an inspiring headteacher to lead a team dedicated to the flourishing and achievement of our children, build on our school’s many strengths and who is committed to our school’s values.
The governors are extremely proud of our school and all the children who attend. We strive to provide an excellent learning environment where pupils and staff feel happy, safe and supported and pupils are enabled to achieve their full potential through a broad and balanced curriculum within and outside the classroom.
We are proud of our school’s ethos and our place in the wider community as a fully inclusive primary school with a very good reputation within the locality.
We are looking for a new Headteacher, passionate about primary education and the flourishing of our school family, who is committed to leading in a way which reflects our school’s ethos and values.
Our staff, children, governors and whole school community will support you in your role. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
You are strongly encouraged to visit our school and will be most welcome end January (Wednesday 29th at 3:30pm or Friday 31st at 9:30am) or early February (Monday, 3rd at 2pm or Friday, 7th at 2:30pm). To arrange a visit please contact Carol Throw (school secretary) or Linda Burnett (Clerk to the Governors), on 01691-656080.
