The Role As a CAD Designer at Woodstock Trading Co., your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the R&D and Marketing team to create technical and CAD drawings for our product designs. You will play a key role in product development, ensuring our designs are innovative, functional, and manufacturable. From conceptualising designs to creating 3D models and technical instructions, you’ll help bring our ideas to life while maintaining the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain accurate, up-to-date technical drawings and design work. Assist in the visual design and development of furniture and fittings, staying ahead of market trends. Create and render 3D models for marketing purposes and CAD software integration. Support the marketing department with content for brochures, animations, and social media. Provide input for POS stands and showroom design to maximize appeal and efficiency. Assist in sourcing samples and components as needed. Offer support for product compliance, testing, and fault investigations. Knowledge and Experience Proven experience in CAD design, ideally within furniture or product development. Strong technical drawing skills with an ability to generate accurate and detailed designs. Proficiency in CAD software and 3D rendering tools. Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost considerations. Excellent organisational and communication skills. A proactive and innovative mindset with a passion for design and development. Ability to prioritize workload and work flexibly to meet deadlines.
