We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to join our facilities team as a House Keeping Operative / Cleaner.
Responsibilities of the House Keeping Operative/Cleaner
As the House Keeping Operative, you will assist the House Keeping Supervisor by undertaking a wide range of cleaning duties to meet the Hospice requirements, monitored outcomes, and high standards within all clinical areas and throughout the whole Hospice setting.
Always maintain a high standard of cleanliness and assist with stock management.
Skills and experience required
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with all, ensuring House Keeping delivers a positive, friendly, and efficient service to patients, relatives, visitors, and staff while responding promptly to complaints and queries.
* Utilize expertise in cleaning to ensure that tasks are effectively carried out.
* Be aware of regulations applicable to work, particularly regarding Control of Substances Hazardous to Health, Infection Control, and Health and Safety.
* Work with the Inpatient Unit staff to ensure that Inpatient Unit rooms obtain clinical sign off.
* Ensure adherence to all hospice policies and statutory regulations relating to the safe and hygienic operation of the IPU areas.
