Description Leading financial planning, budgeting, and long-term strategy for the Trust. Ensuring compliance with the Academy Trust Handbook and financial regulations. Providing strategic insight to senior leaders, Trustees, and stakeholders. Managing multi-million-pound budgets with robust financial governance. Overseeing HR, IT, facilities, and risk management to drive operational efficiency. Leading and developing high-performing teams across finance and operations. Ensuring the Trust maximises funding opportunities and income generation. Implementing strong internal controls to safeguard financial integrity. Driving continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting. Profile To be considered for this role, you will need: A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Proven experience in senior financial leadership, ideally in education or the public sector. Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks. Experience managing multi-million-pound budgets and financial reporting. Leadership experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Commercial acumen with a strategic mindset to drive financial sustainability. Ability to oversee HR, IT, and facilities while ensuring operational efficiency.
