As the Senior Account Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of clients, primarily focused on digital marketing retainers. Your role will be critical in nurturing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering strategies that not only meet but exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities
New Business & Strategy
Collaborate with the wider pitch team to support new business opportunities
Contribute to the development of internal processes and systems to enhance agency efficiency
Identify both short-term wins and larger strategic opportunities across the client portfolio
Stay on top of industry trends and competitor activities to inform client strategy
Provide value beyond the marketing remit by spotting operational or service-related opportunities for clients
Client Management
Confidently take and challenge complex client briefs, ensuring clarity and strategic alignment
Present campaign work to senior-level clients and lead meetings with key stakeholders
Proactively identify marketing opportunities, such as awards, case studies, and campaign highlights
Understand and align with client objectives, developing strategies that fully leverage the agency's capabilities
Communicate proactively with clients, ensuring transparency and responsiveness at all times
Project Delivery
Ensure project deadlines are met and effectively communicate any changes or challenges to clients
Work closely with internal delivery teams to prioritize work according to deadlines and business impact
Relationship Building
Act as a trusted advisor to high-value clients, building long-term, strategic relationships
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior-level clients and team members
Confidently present and advocate for creative and strategic proposals
Financial & Commercial Management
Prepare quotes, manage budgets, and ensure financial transparency with clients
Identify opportunities to increase client spend by introducing relevant agency services
Maintain up-to-date forecasts for client spend and profitability, adjusting as needed
Negotiate financial matters with clients and suppliers, resolving disputes where necessary
Studio & Team Collaboration
Ensure all creative work aligns with client brand guidelines and objectives
Act as the internal "gatekeeper" for quality before any work is shared with clients
Support the internal delivery team in managing and scheduling workflows effectively
Share your expertise across teams, fostering collaboration and contributing to the overall growth of the agency
