Workshop Fitter (HGV Mechanic)
Location: Canvey Island, Essex
Salary: £16 per hour

Refine Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified Workshop Fitter to join a busy local authority workshop in Canvey Island. This role offers competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a diverse fleet of vehicles.
What You'll Do
* Maintain and repair vehicles from grounds maintenance equipment to HGVs
* Conduct vehicle servicing and major overhauls
* Prepare vehicles for LGV and MOT tests
* Perform roadside repairs when required
* Manage parts inventory and documentation
Must Have
* Class 2/HGV Licence
* HGV driving experience
* Proven mechanical and diagnostic skills
* Municipal vehicle experience (preferred)
