In partnership with Dementia UK, we are looking to appoint an Admiral Nurse Lead to join our established RBL Admiral Nurse Service to develop a new team in the South East England area.
This role would require regular travel within the South East of England and it would benefit the candidate to be in close proximity to this area. As part of this role, there may be times where you are required to attend training and meetings within our hubs around the UK.
Admiral Nurses are specialist dementia nurses who work with families who are caring for a loved one living with dementia who have complex needs. As an Admiral Nurse, you will provide specialist one-to-one support, guidance, and practical solutions for families, alongside supporting best practice and providing role modelling.
As the Admiral Nurse Lead in the South East, you will be managing a team of Admiral Nurses in this region. You will also hold a clinical caseload and work with the National Lead to develop this new team.
We are seeking an individual to join our established team of Lead Admiral Nurses to take the service forward for families and carers supporting people living with dementia.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has demonstrable leadership experience and is passionate about further developing the Admiral Nurse Service within RBL.
You will provide clinical advice, support, and liaison with RBL and its partners.
The Admiral Nurse Lead will be an exceptional individual who can influence, lead, and motivate their team.
For this role, you'll have the ability to work autonomously, you will also be highly motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills.
The post holder will work collaboratively across RBL and partners to support the service in delivering RBL's strategic plan.
