Research Assistant (UW7) – 2 posts (Casual contracts until 31/07/2025)

We are seeking talented Research Assistants for a short-term project.
The LRC is undertaking social justice, law and interdisciplinary research aimed at producing impact-driven research and knowledge for the benefit of marginalized communities in the region (West Midlands) and in the UK. To grow our interdisciplinary expertise, we are running a set of innovative original projects to establish our reputation in the field.
Following a successful bid won within the Faculty “Songwriting-As-Method,” we are seeking to recruit two temporary Research Assistants to support this work. The role will entail a large range of research activities, including:
1. Writing literature reviews
2. Analysing qualitative data sets
3. Contributing to report/publication writing
You will have experience as a PhD Student, Research Assistant, and/or Practice Researcher in Law, Songwriting, Social Sciences, or Education.
You will possess sufficient breadth or depth of knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to provide research assistance to the project, as well as good organizational and time management skills.
