Job summary Mount Farm Surgery is a dynamic, forward-thinking GP practice in Moreton Hall, Bury St Edmunds. Focused on delivering the best possible patient service we are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible new team-member to join our reception team. This position is offered on 21.5 hours per week, working the following shifts; Monday: 7:45am-5:00pm Friday: 7:45am-5:00pm For the remaining 5 hours per week, we require this individual to work these flexibly, confirmed at least 1 week in advance. We also need this person to work occasionally on Saturday mornings on a rota basis. Voluntary overtime will also be available. The successful post-holder will be joining a reception team of 8 as well as the wider clinical team. A helpful and friendly manner is essential, with the ability to work well with others. General practice is a challenging environment that requires a calm and caring approach with the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player who offers excellent communication skills. About us Mount Farm Surgery is an innovative and professional teaching practice in Suffolk, located on the outskirts of the cathedral town of Bury St. Edmunds with close links to the A14. Our practice team consists of 11 GPs plus a dedicated clinical team including GP trainees, an ECP, 4 nurses, and 2 HCA's. We have a dedicated management team, plus a large team of other administrative staff. Our membership of Bury St Edmunds PCN ensures we have an extended team which includes a paramedic home visiting service, on site clinical pharmacists, a practice based social prescriber, and 2 care co-ordinators.
