We’re hiring for a dynamic Sales Consultant to join our team in a split role—working both in the office and out meeting clients. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, understanding technical products, and being the bridge between customer needs and engineering solutions.
You’ll be part of a supportive team, contributing to business growth by managing existing accounts, developing new relationships, and helping customers find the right solution for their project or operation.
We’re open to candidates from manufacturing, construction, or engineering backgrounds who are looking to step into a customer-focused sales role with strong future progression.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Meeting with existing and potential clients across the region to understand their requirements and offer tailored solutions
* Managing incoming enquiries and providing technical advice and product recommendations
* Preparing quotes, following up with customers, and closing sales
* Maintaining regular contact with clients to build long-term relationships
* Collaborating with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely order processing
* Keeping the CRM system up to date with activities, leads, and opportunities
* Staying informed on product ranges, services, and market trends
* Representing the company professionally at meetings, exhibitions, and events
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in a customer-facing or technical sales role is ideal—but we’re also open to hands-on backgrounds
* A practical understanding of engineering, construction, or manufacturing processes
* Confident communicator with the ability to explain technical products clearly
* Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
* Organised and detail-focused, especially when handling quotes and orders
* A proactive, positive attitude with a drive to succeed and build relationships
* Full UK driving licence (as travel to client sites is required)
