Job Description
All service works including high complex service tasks such as commissioning, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
Works closely with the factory and Tech Leads to drive first time fix rate.
Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and proactive corrective actions. Troubleshoots complex equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future. Proactively identify suggestions for product, quality and customer service improvement and discusses them with management for changes.
Creates and maintains a good relationship with customers and understands their needs. Identifies new sales opportunities and takes influence in convincing the client for the complete service portfolio. Actively ensures that HSE practices are of high standard. Works to eliminate unsafe practices and incidents.
Attends customer operator training courses where necessary Part of the 24/7 on call Rota
Responsibility for their tools and all company equipment in his possession. Completes job work reports and returns to office within 2 working day
The Successful Applicant
Relevant Electronic qualification
> 2 years working as field engineer on UPS systems or MV switchgear Experience of power electronics
Experience working on Medium Voltage applications Clean driving license
Strong communication with customers
Collaboration with colleagues
Personal organization skills
Experience in all Microsoft office applications
Strong sense of accountability Desirable
Worked in team environment
Experience in training apprentices and less experienced engineers
