Our client, a leading residential care service, is looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Children's Home Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated group of professionals and provide outstanding care and support to young people, helping them thrive and reach their full potential.
As the Registered Children's Home Manager, you will lead a dynamic team in delivering exceptional care to the young people in your service. You’ll be responsible for developing tailored care plans that cover all aspects of their well-being, including their educational, emotional, social, and health needs. You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, and work closely with key stakeholders, including parents and external professionals, to promote the welfare of the young people in your care.
What We’re Looking For:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
* Need to have an Ofsted registration
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar leadership role in children’s residential care.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulations, and therapeutic practices.
* A strong commitment to providing emotional and social support while promoting dignity and respect.
* Resilience and the ability to maintain high standards and never compromise on quality.
* Confidence in challenging existing practices to achieve positive outcomes.
* Must be aged 21 or older, due to the age group of the young people.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire a committed team, ensuring high standards of care and support for the young people.
* Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each young person’s unique needs.
* Manage recruitment and retention efforts, ensuring a well-trained and motivated team.
* Ensure the service operates in compliance with Ofsted regulations and delivers quality care in line with agreed standards.
* Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for young people.
* Investigate grievances, complaints, and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies.
* Undertake on-call duties as part of a rota system.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of each young person in your care.
