Our client specialises in the provision of investigation, assessment and reclamation of development land. They predominantly work with housing contractors and on commercial projects and pride themselves on an exceptionally low staff turnover. They are seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Graduate or Engineer with up to 4 years’ relevant industry background - our client welcomes fresh graduates as well as more seasoned professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects, and a willingness to get your hands dirty on site. You'll be providing technical expertise and support, while gaining hands-on experience in a variety of exciting projects, as a valued member of a close-knit team where your ideas are heard and your contributions make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conducting site investigations and assessments.
2. Monitoring contractors on site to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
3. Preparing technical reports and documentation.
4. Collaborating with the project team to deliver high-quality results.
5. Providing support and advice to clients on geotechnical and geoenvironmental matters.
6. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
2. Up to 4 years relevant track record in the field.
3. A willingness to get your hands dirty on site.
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
5. An eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving.
6. A full driving licence.
7. Full right to work in the UK.
