Education and research are vital parts of our response to the major environmental challenges. We seek an outstanding individual to lead research and teaching in this area as part of Durham Earth Sciences.
You will contribute to the department's success by leading curricula development and delivery of the MSc in Environmental Sustainability.
Your established research programme in environmental geosciences, earth system science, sustainability or related fields should include field, lab, and computational approaches on topics such as global carbon cycle dynamics, carbon sequestration, climate change, energy transition or sustainable resource management.
You will conduct cutting-edge research at the highest level, build your own externally funded research group and collaborate widely within and without the department.
