The Security/Logistics Manager at ISS UK Ltd will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating key support services across a healthcare Trust, including Portering, Security, Linen, Non-Patient Transport, and Waste management.
This newly created position is designed to ensure seamless and high-quality service standards, meeting and exceeding client expectations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Job Description
As the Security/Logistics Manager, you’ll supervise a diverse logistics team, continuously seeking improvements in efficiency and service delivery.
The role is client-facing and requires adaptability, strong organisational skills, and the ability to respond quickly to the unique demands of healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee a team of 90 staff members, including managing schedules, handling sickness, payroll, overtime, and performance KPIs
* Manage ROTA schedules, staff hiring, and onboarding
* Regular client interaction to ensure service levels meet client expectations
* Travel between sites within the region; flexibility is crucial for covering different locations
* Supervise daily operations in a busy, high-pressure healthcare environment, ensuring compliance and smooth workflow
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* SIA License: Mandatory for this role
* Driving License: Required, as the position may involve traveling between sites (approximately one day per week) with flexibility to move between multiple locations as needed
* Healthcare Experience: Preferred, as familiarity with healthcare settings will enable a quicker integration and understanding of processes
