Job Title: Part 147 Quality Manager
We currently have a vacancy to join one of Europe’s leading providers of EASA Part 147 aircraft type training and other aircraft related training courses, as a Part 147 Quality Manager. Whilst this is a permanent position, it is estimated that the role will be part time (circa 3 days per week). Flexible working hours are available and, should the successful candidate wish to work the equivalent of 3 full days per week, hours can be split across 5 days.
They have provided training courses to more than 10,000 engineers since opening, through some of the world’s biggest airlines and maintenance organisations, in more than 70 countries worldwide.
They offer training at their own EASA approved training facilities and classrooms but are also able to deliver training at their customer’s facilities across the globe.
The company is now seeking a dedicated and experienced Part 147 Quality Manager to oversee and ensure the compliance of their Part 147 training organization with all regulatory requirements and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation, monitoring and improvement of quality systems within the organization, ensuring the training and certification processes align with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
Quality Management System (QMS):
* Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with Part 147 regulations.
* Ensure all training and maintenance operations comply with regulatory requirements (EASA, UK CAA) and industry standards.
* Regulatory Compliance:
* Keep up-to-date with changes in aviation regulations, particularly those related to Part 147, and ensure that the training organisation stays compliant.
* Prepare for and participate in external audits by regulatory authorities and other stakeholders.
Training Program Oversight:
* Review and approve training materials to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
* Monitor the performance of instructors and assess the effectiveness of training programs.
* Ensure proper documentation of training records, including student attendance, assessments, and certifications.
Non-Conformance Management:
* Perform root cause analysis for identified quality issues and develop strategies for resolution.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the quality management system.
* Identify opportunities to enhance the quality of training programs and operational processes.
* Facilitate training and development opportunities for staff to promote a high standard of quality management.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to quality assurance activities, audits, and compliance reports.
* Provide regular reports on the performance of the quality management system to senior management.
* Maintain records of training, certification, and audits as required by regulatory bodies.

Previous experience in quality management within aviation/ aerospace
- Prior experience in quality assurance/ quality control and quality management systems
