About The Role & Who Were Scouting
Were on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Physiotherapist to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club; youll play a key role within a multi-disciplinary team including physiotherapists, sports scientists and coaches, optimising the rehabilitation and physical development of the Club's Academy prospects, primarily within the Professional Development Phase.
Your core responsibilities will include assisting the Head of Academy Physiotherapy and physiotherapy colleagues in the implementation, organisation, and development of treatment and rehabilitation programmes across the Club's Academy, meaning youll need to bring passion and flexibility to the table. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria;
Essential;
BSc(Hons)DegreeinPhysiotherapy
HCPC/CSPCharteredPhysiotherapist
FAAdvancedTraumaMedicalManagementinFootball(ATMMiF)qualification or equivalent or the ability to achieve this within 3 months of starting the role
Previousexperienceinasimilarrolewithinanelitepaediatricsportingenvironment
At least 5 years post graduate experience, including 2 years in elite sport
Desirable;
CompletedFA SafeguardingChildrenWorkshop
KnowledgeofEPPP inrelationtoaCategory1academy
Previous experience in professional football
Experience travelling with teams
