We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our finance team in a thriving business supplying construction materials to the building and construction trade. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is attentive, responsive, and an excellent communicator, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Posting invoices and managing credit notes and returns
Reconciling supplier statements to ensure accuracy
Communicating effectively with stakeholders across the business
Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers
Supporting month-end processes
Managing purchase orders and supplier set-ups
Allocating payments, including bank and credit card transactions
Assisting with budget variations and cost reduction initiatives
Supporting audits and compliance processes
Conducting purchase ledger reviews and managing the accounts inbox
Producing ad hoc reports as required
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a purchase ledger or finance role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
