Key Account Manager
As a Key Account Manager, your role will be crucial in managing key existing National Accounts and the relationships within those accounts. You will be responsible for overseeing relationships with major businesses such as ASDA, Aldi, Morrisons, and others in the FMCG, Food Production, or Drinks sectors. This is a significant opportunity for individuals with experience in National Account Management, Account Management, Executive roles, Regional Account Management, or Commercial Management within the retail or online sectors to join a rapidly growing business and play a vital role within the Commercial team.
Key responsibilities:
1. Maintaining strong relationships with existing business clients to ensure service levels are met.
2. Presenting new products to potential and existing clients.
3. Managing account relationships and negotiating prices.
4. Understanding client businesses and goals.
5. Identifying and capitalizing on sales growth opportunities.
6. Managing product cost prices and developing customer joint business plans.
7. Handling customer inquiries and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
8. Delivering forecast customer volume, net sales, and margin goals for relevant clients.
Skills & experience:
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in account management with major retailers or wholesalers, a FMCG background in Food Production, or Drinks sectors, strong IT skills including proficiency in the MS Office suite, the ability to work independently and manage time effectively, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, resilience, drive, and a focus on career advancement.
This opportunity is suitable for National Account Managers, Account Managers, Regional Account Managers, or Commercial Managers with experience in national accounts in retail or online sectors. Sales Executives with relevant experience looking to advance their careers are also encouraged to apply.
Benefits:
* The role offers standard office hours from (Apply online only), Monday to Friday, with a hybrid working model allowing for two days of remote work per week.
* The salary for this position is up to GBP47,000 per year, depending on experience, with performance bonuses of up to GBP2,000 per year (GBP500 per quarter) and a car allowance.
