Position
We are seeking an Area Manager with a strategic and operational management mindset to help drive growth and success of our patrol team in East London. This is a busy, hands-on role that requires working closely with Wardens in the field, analysing operational data, and implementing strategies to improve service delivery.
The Area Manager role is crucial in optimizing team productivity, ensuring seamless 24/7 field operations, and leveraging data to drive performance. As an experienced operations or regional manager, you will be able to lead the way in delivering exceptional service to our clients while ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Oversee daily operations of the Warden patrol team, ensuring efficiency and adherence to performance targets
2. Ensure the delivery of key strategic objectives
3. Monitor and optimize patrol routes, staffing levels, and workload distribution to maximize coverage and effectiveness
4. Forecast operational needs, including resource allocation and budgeting, to ensure optimal service delivery
5. Establish and maintain performance management systems to ensure employees meet set KPIs and quality standards
6. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational productivity and streamline processes
7. Utilize data analytics to track performance metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement
8. Support the team to ensure company/regional KPI targets are being consistently achieved
9. Manage a range of HR related issues such as poor performance, absence management, recruitment, 121s, appraisals
10. Implement corrective action plans and improvement initiatives based on performance data
11. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards
Requirements
Who you are
1. Proven experience in operations management, process optimization, performance management, or a similar role within a fast-paced, field-based environment
2. Experienced in dealing with most aspects of HR
3. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions
4. An excellent communicator, liaising with stakeholders at all levels and through various methods
5. A confident decision maker and proactive problem solver
6. You must be able to legally live and work in the UK
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, process improvement, strategic planning, and performance management of remote based teams.
The postholder will be required to travel to their nearest office, external meetings and client sites regularly.
Other information
Salary: £38,500 per annum with bonus (OTE £62,500)
Location: This role is to cover the East London team and the successful applicant will be based in the East London area.
