The Role We are looking for a FTC Head of Project Management Office to implement new pricing and packaging options that have the potential to significantly accelerate the growth of the business. The business has worked with a leading strategy consultancy to create an innovative model that allows it to grow in partnership with its dealer customers. Implementation of the initiative requires cross-functional effort with impact across sales, operations, product, technology and finance. The Head of Project Management Office will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the overall project. The individual will ensure strong communication and alignment between departments and work proactively to help resolve and escalate issues that may threaten the project’s success. This is expected to be a 9-12 month project to ensure that the business has prepared properly. Success will be measured by effective implementation translating into dealer adoption and revenue growth. Reports to: Chief Operating Officer Location: Hybrid Remote (Weekly Office Travel is expected) Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract Key responsibilities: Create and oversee project plan - be seen as the delivery owner within the business - taking a proactive, energetic approach to ensuring delivery Coordinate regular and effective communication with key project stakeholders to track progress Report to Leadership Team on progress and escalate issues with resolution suggestions Work alongside existing team set-ups for planning and delivery to create alignment with overall plan - including Salesforce development, Product & Technology, Marketing, Finance and Sales Support with strategic implementation and data analysis Key attributes: Experience with significant commercial/finance transformation projects Proven project management office credentials Understanding of marketplace businesses an advantage Understanding of technical/platform aspects of marketplaces including Salesforce.com as primary CRM, commercial operations and finance Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business Ability to work at pace in a dynamic environment whilst continuing to meet deadlines and manage stakeholders Customer-centric thinking - empathetic to end-user delivery About you: Skills & Competencies Experience of delivering commercially focused projects in technology driven environments Significant project management capabilities including Ability to define scope, timelines, and milestones Aligning projects with business strategy Identifying, mitigating, and managing project risks Optimise people, budget, and tools across the project Ability to design and deliver engaging materials to support project communication. High level of collaboration to create cross-functional alignment – running workshops with various teams including sales, product, operations, finance and engineering to resolve friction points. Understanding of Salesforce.com, Stripe, and Netsuite, as well as interaction with commercial operations, product and technology. Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.
