Position: Senior Care Worker
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Kent, UK
About the Role
* Holder of full UK drivers license + personal car
* UK applicants only – visa sponsorship available to suitable candidates
* We cover Kent areas such as: Canterbury, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Sheerness, Maidstone, Thanet, Medway towns and always looking to expand our service to other areas as necessary
* Previous care experience beneficial but full training and support will be given
Main Duties
* Helping service users meet personal care tasks
* Help with food and drink
* Help with medication
* Help with toileting needs
* Help with transfers using the service user equipment
* Help to maintain home environment
* Escorting to outings
* Refer to other professionals
* You must be able to follow care and support plans
* Offer care and support to various services user groups for example: adults, elderly, mental health, learning disability & autism, physical problems, medical problems etc
* Visit service users at home morning, lunch, tea and bed
* Start visits at 7am or according to the scheduled visit times
Qualifications
* A caring attitude
* The ability to work on your own initiative
* Good listening and communication skills
* The ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
* Good writing skills to complete care records
* Good team player
* Flexible
* Able to work in agreed ways
* Have access to personal car and UK driving experience
