Driver Hire (Torbay) is seeking skilled Valeters for a temp-to-perm role with our client in Chudleigh, near Newton Abbot. If you have an eye for detail and experience with vehicle presentation, this role could be a great fit. A valid UK/EU driving licence is essential.
Position Details:
* Hourly Rate: £12.00 per hour
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
* Holiday Entitlement: 28 days (including public holidays), increases by one day per year after five years, up to 33 days
* Pension Scheme: 5% employee, 3% employer contribution

* Licence Requirement: Full UK/EU driving licence
Main Responsibilities:
* Follow Valeting Manager instructions
* Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to high standards
* Vacuum and shampoo carpets and seats
* Polish vehicle surfaces
* Inspect vehicles and report issues
* Follow health and safety guidelines for cleaning products
* Complete tasks within set timeframes
* Move vehicles between sites as needed
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Experience: Previous vehicle detailing experience preferred
* Skills: Accuracy, efficiency, and ability to work solo or as part of a team
* Product Knowledge: Understanding of detailing products and techniques
* Health and Safety: Knowledge of relevant regulations
* Communication: Strong service and communication skills
* Licence: Full UK/EU driving licence required
This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Training in detailing and polishing will be provided.
