Role Overview
40 hours per week.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Our elite officers work in retail environments delivering a high-profile visual deterrent, offering great customer service skills to ensure a safe and secure environment for all staff and customers whilst driving reductions in theft and stock loss.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver the best standards in personal presentation.
2. Be vigilant and proactive to detect and prevent shoplifting, in accordance with ASCONE Procedures.
3. Partner with store/client management to meet loss prevention objectives.
4. Commit to the highest degree of professionalism and customer service.
5. Ensure the safety of client employees and customers.
6. Maintain effective relationships with local security, Business Improvement Districts, and local police.
7. Ensure high execution of company security measures designed to control store shrinkage.
8. Provide a uniformed presence within the premises.
9. Facilitate monitoring and reporting using online management app.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Experienced Officer (Minimum 3 years within the industry or relevant experience such as police/armed forces).
2. Enthusiastic and focused on making a difference.
3. Excellent customer service, people skills, organisational skills, and time management.
4. Valid SIA licence or certificate of completed SIA training.
5. The right to work in the UK and a checkable employment history.
6. Smart and presentable in appearance. Polite and proactive in engaging customers.
7. Ability to follow company procedures and policies.
8. Able to stay calm in a highly pressured environment.
9. Able to report to emergency services and control room when required.
