Overview
The Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is responsible for ensuring that Microsoft's security practices are aligned with the needs and expectations of our customers, partners, and regulators.
The Customer Security Management Office (CSMO) is a team within the Office of the CISO that focuses on building trust and transparency with our customers and stakeholders on Microsoft's security posture, capabilities, and practices.
The UK/EMEA Customer Management Office Lead is a key role within the CSMO that will drive the strategy and execution of creating a community for UK/EMEA customers, partners, associations, and organizations. The goal of this community is to foster closer alignment and collaboration with Microsoft on security matters, share best practices and insights, and provide feedback and input on Microsoft's security capabilities.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge and expertise on the security landscape, challenges, and solutions including the regulatory and compliance requirements, the industry standards and best practices, and the customer needs and expectations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex and technical concepts in a clear and compelling way to diverse audiences.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility with senior leaders, customers, partners, regulators, and industry peers.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering impactful and engaging programs and initiatives that educate, inform, and influence the global Regulated Industry community on security matters.
• Passion and curiosity for learning and staying abreast of the latest trends and innovations in the security and Regulated Industry domains.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are preferred.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the security needs, challenges, and opportunities of UK/EMEA customers and stakeholders, including cybersecurity trends, how the regulatory and compliance landscape intersects with cybersecurity, the industry trends and innovations, and the customer pain points and expectations.
• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and influencers in the UK/EMEA region, such as industry associations, regulators, standards bodies, customers, partners, and thought leaders.
• Design and deliver programs and initiatives that engage and educate the UK/EMEA customer community on Microsoft's security practices, capabilities, and CISO office roadmap, such as webinars, workshops, roundtables, newsletters, blogs, podcasts, etc.
• Collect and synthesize feedback and input from the UK/EMEA customer community on Microsoft's security offerings and CISO office roadmap and communicate them to the relevant internal teams and leaders.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration and co-innovation with the UK/EMEA customer community on security matters, such as joint research, pilots, case studies, threat intelligence sharing, white papers, etc.
• Represent Microsoft as a trusted and credible voice on security matters in the UK/EMEA customer community, such as speaking at events, participating in panels, contributing to publications, etc.
