Position Summary: This is a key role working within a highly collaborative Amazon team reporting to the Amazon Advertising Manager. The position holder will be focusing on maximising product visibility, optimising sales performance, and ensuring operational efficiency of our paid advertising within our growing territories in Europe. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, and proactive management of accounts to drive success. Key Performance Objectives: 1. Advertising Performance Enhancement: Execute strategies to increase awareness and sales volumes in existing Amazon markets by achieving Year-over-Year growth within Europe. Employ competitive analysis, new technologies from Amazon, and customer insights to optimise our advertising approach, crucial for solidifying our market presence and achieving sustainable growth. 2. Profitability and Efficiency Management : Maintain a predefined Return on Advertising Spend while supporting the wider Amazon Team’s profitability focus on key products across the range. 3. Tactical Marketing : Work with the whole Amazon team to support strategic marketing opportunities and seasonal time frames such as Prime Day and Black Friday to achieve KPIs. 4. Administration, Reporting and Analysis: Support the Advertising Manager to analyse and report key metrics to stakeholders for the monthly performance of advertising across all 8 territories. To highlight opportunities from this data to action in future strategies. 5. Effective Communication: Liaise with external agencies to optimize spend and campaign activity utilizing available performance dashboards and regular meetings and reports. Also working with inhouse Digital marketing and Amazon teams to provide an alignment of campaigns, stock availability, keyword and promotional activity. Help to build and maintain a positive working relationship with our internal and external contacts. 6. Be a subject matter expert on Amazon: Maintain a deep understanding of relevant Amazon developments and functions, staying updated on changes, updates, and new features within the Amazon ecosystem. Skills and Competencies: While proficiency in the following skills is highly desired, candidates who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and adapt will also be considered for this role. We value potential and a proactive attitude towards skill development. Analytical Skills: S trong ability to analyse complex datasets and understand digital trends to inform strategic decisions. Technical Proficiency: Experience in Amazon Marketing Services for managing ad listings and monitoring performance. An understanding of the Amazon Vendor model and how this business works. Experienced in using Helium 10 for keyword and market analysis. Skilled in the Microsoft Suite ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc .) for data manipulation, presentation creation, and document handling. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute advertising sales and awareness strategies. Problem-Solving : Effective at identifying and resolving operational and strategic challenges. Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and clear reporting. Adaptability: Capable of quickly adapting to changes in eCommerce market & internal business conditions. Languages: Familiarity of the German, French, Spanish or Italian languages would be an advantage.
