Job summary Nottingham University Hospitals Pharmacy department has an exciting opportunity for a Medicines Management Assistant to join the Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) pharmacy team working in one of the UK's largest and busiest acute teaching hospital Trusts. This post will involve working alongside our established pharmacy team, consisting of Pharmacists, Medicines Management Technicians and Medicines Management Assistants. We are aiming to improve and enhance our comprehensive pharmacy service that we already have within the UEC directorate. The Medicines Management Assistant is a crucial component of the UEC pharmacy team and their contributions make a huge difference to patient care and this is recognised by the entire multidisciplinary team within the UEC directorate. Main duties of the job To work as part of the UEC and SDEC Clinical Pharmacy Team in providing an efficient, effective and safe pharmaceutical service to patients and service users.
