JOB DESCRIPTION Kuehne + Nagel, a global leader in logistics, is seeking an experienced Delivery Project Manager to lead the Zero Emissions HGV Infrastructure Demonstrator (ZEHID) trial. Your Role
As the ZEHID Delivery Project Manager, you will lead the deployment of electric Heavy Goods Vehicles (eHGVs) and associated charging infrastructure across the Kuehne + Nagel estate. You will be responsible for strategic planning, project coordination, and ensuring the successful execution of this government initiative.
Your Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for eHGV and charging site deployment.
2. Collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders.
3. Oversee all aspects of project delivery from setup to maintenance.
4. Manage relationships with contractors and utility providers.
5. Support procurement, installation, and maintenance of eHGVs and infrastructure.
6. Align the project with KN's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.
7. Continuously evaluate and optimize trial performance.
8. Identify and address any risks to the project.
Your Skills and Experiences
9. Proven experience in transport and project management.
10. Extensive Knowledge and a passion to reduce Co2 levels in the transport industry (Carbon Literacy)
11. Experience in managing projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
12. Proficient in project management methodologies including Agile, Prince2 and/or APM.
13. Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
14. Excellent communication skills.
15. Ability to manage relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders.
16. Willingness to commute, travel for meetings with customers and suppliers, and visit other Kuehne + Nagel sites as needed.
