About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Epidemiology (Non-Clinical) in the Centre for Rheumatic Diseases at King's College London. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an early career academic with a proven track record in research to establish and develop their career within a supportive and innovative environment.
As a Lecturer in Epidemiology, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the Centre's research portfolio, focusing on rheumatic disease epidemiology through the utilisation of large, routinely collected healthcare datasets. Your research will explore critical topics, including the phenotypic variations of immune-mediated inflammatory rheumatic diseases, disease outcomes, mental health impacts, healthcare quality, and pharmacovigilance. By harnessing advanced analytical methods, your work will shape understanding and inform clinical practice in this dynamic field.
You will work closely with Professor James Galloway and Professor Sam Norton. In addition to developing your own research programme, you will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team and external partners to strengthen the Centre's reputation for impactful research. You will also contribute to teaching and mentoring activities, supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students in epidemiology and related subjects.
