Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Continuous Improvement Specialist to join a small team near Peterborough. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing environments and a proven ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves identifying, analysing, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize productivity. This is a role that you can really make your own and there are excellent career prospects for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
2. Analyse manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
3. Develop and implement action plans to address process inefficiencies.
4. Train and mentor employees on continuous improvement techniques and best practices.
5. Monitor and report on the progress of improvement initiatives.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in a continuous improvement role within a manufacturing environment.
3. Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
