Instrumentation Technician Toro Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to join a leading energy company. This role of an Instrumentation Technician is ideal for a skilled professional who thrives in a hands-on environment, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical gas plant facilities. Key Responsibilities of a Instrumentation Technician Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct routine servicing of process control instrumentation, including transmitters, controllers, and analysers. Support and supervise vendor-specified maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Carry out equipment isolations following permit requirements for safe maintenance activities. Assist in the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new and existing plant facilities. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 4-5 years of maintenance experience with instrumentation and electrical systems. Recognised instrumentation qualification (apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3) with strong electrical knowledge. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing maintenance tasks with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to achieving results. IT literacy and competency in using maintenance management systems. What This Role Offers: Attractive salary based on experience, plus paid call-outs at enhanced rates.
