District Enforcement Limited are a leading supplier in Car Park Enforcement, Moorings Enforcement and Environmental Crime. We currently have 500 contracts across the UK and due to our continued growth within the Car Parking Industry, we are now recruiting for the position of Parking Enforcement Officer based in the Midlands.
Previous Enforcement experience is preferred yet not essential, as full training will be given.
As a Parking Enforcement Officer, you will be expected to patrol the site in accordance with an agreed deployment strategy. You will work closely with senior management to ensure efficient monitoring and enforcement of the site is achieved. Using the most recent equipment, you will be expected to issue PCNs (Parking Charge Notices) to all vehicles which are in contravention of the parking regulations set out on site.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience in a customer service role and handling difficult situations in a professional manner.
* The ability to communicate with offenders, often in demanding circumstances, in a calm and assertive manner.
* The ability to deal with members of the public from all cultures and backgrounds in a diplomatic and professional manner.
* The ability to be resilient, as some interactions with offenders can become confrontational.
* The ability to defuse hostile situations in a professional manner.
* Must enjoy working outdoors and in all weather conditions.
* The ability to work under pressure, independently or as part of a team, and on own initiative to carry out the enforcement role.
* Excellent communication skills are required both written and spoken.
* Will be physically fit as you may be required to carry out foot patrols for prolonged periods.
You will be required to work between 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays), with shifts between 7am - 8pm, so flexibility for the role is essential.
