This is an exciting opportunity to become a Band 7 on the Churchill Intensive Care Unit (CICU) with a strong focus on Cancer and Transplant pathways and as a Team lead within critical care.

Job responsibilities
This position is based at the Churchill Hospital in Headington, Oxford. It is roughly three miles from the city centre, with exceptional public transport to and from the hospital as well as onsite parking. We actively welcome applications from Nurses who are overseas.
Person Specification
* Registered nurse (part 1, 8, 12 or 15 of register depending on area of practice)
* Educated to Masters level, or willing to undertake.
* Postgraduate Certificate in Intensive Care practice, ENB 100 Course or Diploma in Critical Care Nursing or other relevant critical care qualification.
* Evidence to support a programme of personal professional development.
* Completion of a leadership and management development programme/CC3N STEP 4 competencies.
* Hold a mentorship qualification/evidence of advanced mentorship skills.
* Evidence of ICU operational management/Bed management.
* Maintaining an excellent standard of patient care.
* Effectively managing a team.
* Advance critical care clinical practice.
* Team leadership skills, adopting a flexible leadership style depending on the situation.
* Organisational & management skills.
* Teaching skills.
* Ability to facilitate professional growth in nursing colleagues.
* Evidence of involvement with Audit work, quality assurance and governance processes.
