Are you a strong administrator with a knack for prioritising tasks? Do you thrive in a customer-focused environment? If so, our client wants to hear from you! They're on the lookout for a dynamic Lettings Assistant to join their Housing Needs team.
As a key member of their team, you'll provide essential administrative support for the management of shops and assist both the Home Ownership and Lettings teams. This role is based at their Head Office on Shrewsbury Avenue, with travel to properties in Peterborough and the surrounding areas (usually within 1 hour of Peterborough). This is a Job share with current staff member with hours to be agreed with incoming applicant.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence: Deliver top-notch service to their tenants, homeowners and Shop Lessees, offering advice and guidance, and ensuring a commitment to first-class customer service.

Eligibility Checks: Ensure applicants meet the necessary criteria for internal transfers, mutual exchanges, garage lettings and managing shops.
*
Liaison with Solicitors: Handle enquiries related to lettings of shop leases. And act as first point of contact for shop related enquiries.
*
Portfolio Management: Keep accurate records of their shop portfolio.
*
Payment Monitoring: Ensure timely and up-to-date payments from shop owners.
*
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Home Ownership and Lettings teams to provide seamless service, including maintaining records, handling enquiries, and processing applications.

Compliance: Adhere to GDPR and other regulatory standards, ensuring data quality.
*
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide management information reports.
