What the Job Involves Delivering high-quality lessons to pupils, including those with SEND, and adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs. Liaising with the pupil’s main school and other agencies concerning pupil welfare. Prompt reporting of safeguarding concerns to the Head of Service and the pupil's school. Assessing and reporting the development, progress, and attainment of pupils, providing informative feedback and clear next steps. Maintaining attendance records and providing detailed reports to schools and parents. Implementing strategies to ensure consistent attendance and monitoring exam entries in consultation with relevant school officers. Participating in Home/Teacher meetings, monthly staff meetings, and training sessions. Maintaining high standards of professional practice and ensuring continuous professional development. Creating a dynamic learning environment for all students, ensuring high achievement expectations. Supporting and working across all aspects of the service, providing consistency in teaching for students with SEMH needs. Primarily teaching Maths and English to Year 5 through Year 11 pupils, with some GCSE teaching expectations. ```
