Our client is a well-established manufacturing business looking for sales ledger / accounts receivable support on a temporary basis. This is a full-time, office-based opportunity.
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of the role will be to provide administrative support to the Accounts Department. Experience of working within an Accounts assistant / Sales ledger position is essential.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Applying receipts to customer accounts
* Manual credit note creation
* Processing invoices
* Liaising with customer services teams
* Application of receipts in line with customer remittance listing
* Manual credit/debit memo creation
* Sending out account statements
* Customer account reconciliations
* Assist Customer Services team with customer queries
Education and Experience:
* Previous experience as an Accounts receivable / Sales Ledger role supporting an accounts team is essential.
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
* ERP systems experience
* Accurate data entry skills
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent computer skills
* Good organisational skills
* German language skills would be advantageous
* A strong work ethic with an ability to work to deadlines
* Working on own initiative and the ability to seek further advice when required
* Building strong relationships with team and supporting each other
* Ability to manage several processes and procedures and multitask within a strict and pressurised timeframe
