As a Teacher of Science, your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering high-quality lessonsthat inspire and challenge students, fostering a love for Science.
2. Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring lessons meet the requirements of the national curriculum.
3. Differentiating lessonsto accommodate the needs of all students, including those with SEND and high achievers.
4. Encouraging students todevelop critical thinking and problem-solving skillsthrough engaging practical and theoretical lessons.
5. Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support improvement.
6. Preparing students forGCSE Science examinations, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required for success.
7. Collaborating with the Science departmentto plan and enhance the curriculum.
8. Supporting students’ wider development throughextracurricular activities and enrichment programs.
9. Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and fostering apositive and respectful classroom culture.
10. Communicating effectively with parents and carers to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
