This is an exciting opportunity to join the rapidly growing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team in support of our automation journey. We are seeking to recruit a focused and highly motivated individual to join the team in the role of RPA developer with a key focus to deliver automation solutions across the Trust to support transformation.
This post is pivotal in providing all aspects of RPA process design, system integration and solution development including programming and technical implementation to drive forward innovative automation solutions.
We seek an individual who has both the necessary technical skills to programme our automations but with additional soft skills to train, support and develop others in the RPA team as we grow.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with Silverlink PCS and NLAG's WebV applications for automation design and integration.
The role would suit someone with a proven record of complex RPA automation delivery. This is a role that is both demanding and challenging, but also rewarding as you will help shape our vision for RPA.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will be a subject matter RPA expert able to offer training, support and development for others. Working independently and as part of the wider team, the role will include: Participating in all aspects of RPA process design; system integration; solution development; authoring controls and standards; authoring of documentation; software tools design; programming and technical implementation across the entire automation development lifecycle; the creation of complex functional specifications; application programming across a range of technology platforms; and systems integration, testing and deployment.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Post Graduate Level qualification or equivalent knowledge.
Knowledge and Experience
* A minimum of 2 years developing and testing software on a Windows platform and adhering to a structured and documented methodology OR a minimum of 6 months developing and implementing automated processes as an accredited developer.
* Experience of delivering automations using key NHS applications including ERS, PAS, EPR, Trac etc.
* Experience of working with Silverlink PCS application and NLAG's WebV application.
