The post holder will be required to input data into the Clinical System - Electronic Patient Record daily and perform associated clerical administrative tasks with the ability to work without direct supervision. They will assist in ad-hoc data entry and data quality tasks; deal with patient discharges and disposing of sensitive, personal patient data. Main duties of the job The Referral Management Centre provides a high quality appointment booking, referral management and message taking service for MSK Physiotherapy, Podiatry and IMT Services. We are recruiting 5 Administrative Assistants to support the back end office function of the Department working alongside Referral Management Centre Agents and the Management Team. The successful candidate will be required to provide administrative service to support the smooth and efficient running; working in a supervised and supportive environment. You will need to be able to communicate effectively and courteously with a range of internal/external roles. You will work as part of a team alongside other administrative colleagues contributing to the efficient and effective running of all processes and office systems. You must possess good oral and written communication skills, have good computer skills and be flexible to the needs of the department. A friendly, conscientious, and pro-active approach is key to this role, as is the ability to liaise with all levels of staff and patients. Previous clerical experience in a healthcare setting would be desirable, however training will be provided. Successful candidates will be expected to work flexibly to meet the service needs between the hours of: Monday-Friday 08:00 - 17:00.
