Village Vets is a 4-branch small animal practice with an onsite orthopaedic referral unit. We have 12 vets, 16 RVNs, and a fabulous team of dedicated veterinary receptionists.
We are seeking an enthusiastic RVN to work at our busy four-branch practice. We promote further growth and development within the team, giving you access to a large client base with a wide variety of cases, CPD, and a supportive team. In this role, you will be working with a large team of dedicated Vets, Nurses, and supporting team members in the delivery of excellent client & patient care.
You will be involved in nursing duties for our medical and surgical patients, provision of perioperative care, assisting with the provision of anaesthesia, as well as supporting the patient journey from admission to discharge, providing nurse consults and the provision of outstanding client care.
Flex your work-life balance
Our full-time position is an average of 40 hours per week, as well as working a 1 in 4 Saturday or Sunday mornings with generous time off for working the weekend. We can be flexible with shift requirements and can offer a 4 or 5-day working week. Part-time applications will also be considered.

Our main Hospital has RCVS Tier 3 hospital status and is based in Buckley, which is a thriving town in North Wales. Situated on the edge of the Welsh & Cheshire countryside, it also provides a beautiful backdrop for long walks with our canine friends.
We have facilities for imaging and surgery at any time of day or night. Our equipment includes digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound with colour doppler, endoscopy, arthroscopy, hydrotherapy, and laser therapy.

We have a team of 12 vets, including certificate holders in small animal orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and dermatology. We are more than a typical first-opinion practice as we offer a certificate-led referral service on site. Our nursing team is made up of 13 RVNs with advanced certificates in surgical nursing, anaesthesia, and emergency medicine. We encourage our nurses to pursue special interests as much as possible.
What we’re looking for in you?
You will be an RCVS registered RVN with confidence in all areas of veterinary nursing. You will have a desire to drive forward clinical standards and client care as well as work well in a team environment. You will already be a clinical supervisor or be willing to complete the training to become one.
