The Role
An experienced lecturer in Construction is required to assist with the effective planning and organisation of our STEM department and cover on a range of construction related courses with students of varying abilities teaching across a range of levels and awarding bodies, including Level 1-3 courses as well as working with City & Guilds awarding bodies. They should be willing to assist the Curriculum Manager with curriculum development and the expansion and development of the department as well as the promotion of other courses in the STEM curriculum areas and participate in marketing events as required.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience. They will have achieved a minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy and be a qualified FE teacher or be willing to work towards this. They should have the ability to articulate clearly and be understood in teaching and making presentations to class groups and have efficient administration skills to support good student record keeping.
