Band 6 Junior Sister with very strong post registration experience to come and join our dynamic and well established team. The aim of the Coronary Care Unit is to provide holistic care for acute Cardiology patients, utilizing a coordinated multi-disciplinary approach, resulting in optimal patient outcomes. This includes the initiation of early intervention as appropriate. The unit provides central monitoring/ telemetry for primary PCI patients as well as all other acute cardiac conditions, and has the facilities for intra aortic balloon pacing as required The candidate should be able to demonstrate a commitment to high standards of patient care as well as being able to demonstrate good organisational and leadership skills.
