Job summary B3 Administration & Finance Officer An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the administration team in the Quality Control North West Department at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. You will be responsible for providing general clerical support and reception duties within the QCNW department. The main focus of the role will be to support the Office Manager by preparing financial data on a regular basis. A good understanding of MS Excel formulas, graphs and pivot tables is an essential requirement for this post as are organisational and personable skills. Previous reception or customer focused experience would be advantageous. Methodical method of working and a keen eye for detail is crucial to this role. Training on in-house information systems will be provided. Previous NHS experience would be an advantage but not essential. Main duties of the job We are looking to appoint a highly enthusiastic individual to join an office team. They will report to the Office Manager and Senior Scientists and help to support the administration of our laboratory services.. They will help to drive the scientific and financial outputs of the laboratory. They will gain experience and skills in specialised databases and spreadsheets, and will need to use their own initiative to look for system improvements.
