Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a District Nurse Clinical Lead to join our caring and highly motivated and dynamic St Austell Community Nursing Team in Central Cornwall covering the diverse area of St Austell, Carlyon Bay and Mevagissey areas. We are looking for a dynamic, flexible and compassionate practitioner role model who can demonstrate a broad range of competencies and leadership who can adapt to a wide variety of clinical circumstances and support the team to develop The caseload demographic is diverse- we are looking for someone who is enjoys variety and problem solving in a friendly, happy forward thinking team. Main duties of the job The post holder will monitor the quality of care provision and identify and lead on areas of service development. They will be a registered nurse who holds the DNSPQ qualification. They will work within an integrated team providing clinical leadership for all patients within the community nursing caseload through proactive management. Whilst working on their own initiative they will be responsible for ensuring that all members of the nursing team are providing the highest standard of evidence based clinical care and will actively support and liaise with other health and social agencies and professionals. This is a community-based role that requires frequent travel to various locations throughout the county including areas that may not be accessible by public transportation. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate how they will manage these travel requirements.
