We are working with schools across the Leeds area who are recruiting for specialist SEMH Support Workers to help support their pupils across the primary curriculum. The role is a varied one and involves working with designated pupils across school. You will be assisting with pastoral and learning support duties in order to ensure each pupil is given the best opportunity to achieve the best outcomes. The successful candidate will: Have previous teaching/support experience Be able to establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with your pupils Confident in managing challenging behaviour effectively Have effective verbal and written communication Work well as a team member to support the use of the whole school environment to assist each pupil Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment Understand SEND/SEMH needs
