We are seeking an Associate Consultant with CFD experience to join our growing Building Physics team. Help us shape a sustainable future!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality technical and strategic advice on a wide range of building physics services, including Bioclimate Design, Building Performance Optimization, CFD Modelling, Daylight, Sunlight & Overshadowing, Internal Daylight Modelling, Microclimate Analysis, Pedestrian Wind Comfort, Glint & Glare, Thermal Comfort & Overheating, TM54 Modelling, Visual Comfort & Reflection Studies.
2. Collaborate with design teams on innovative, high-profile projects.
3. Prepare comprehensive reports for clients.
4. Contribute actively to the growth of the Building Physics team.
5. Manage key client accounts and develop long-term, constructive relationships.
Qualifications:
1. 10+ years of experience in the construction industry (e.g., surveying, sustainability consultancy, architecture, planning, construction, M&E).
2. Extensive experience in client-facing roles.
3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper).
4. Familiarity with IES, Design Builder, and Radiance/Ladybug tools.
5. Experience in CFD modelling and simulation.
6. Knowledge of GLA planning requirements.
7. Proficiency in operational energy modelling (TM54, etc.).
8. Experience in overheating/daylight assessments and thermal bridging.
9. Expertise in IES Apache HVAC for detailed energy modelling.
