Your new company My client is a global manufacturer and supplier of specialist products to FMCG and Retail clients. With over 70 specialist brands, they provide extensive market coverage and end-to-end solutions to customers. Their products range from everyday to premium, and they can boast the largest, fastest growing brands in the category. We are partnering to recruit the job of Marketing Manager - Trade to support with Trade Shows and Launch Campaigns, working hybrid from their offices in Guildford. Your new role This is an exciting opportunity to manage the UK and Ireland marketing for a portfolio of brands, as well as dedicating a percentage of your time specifically on the UK's best selling brand in their category. You will be fully responsible for marketing the portfolio of brands in the UK&I market; co-ordinating with the relevant brand teams to ensure marketing assets are available for the region. You will work closely with the UK Sales Director, taking full responsibility for all UK&I trade shows from stand concept and budget management right through to the coordination of logistics and show management. You will develop marketing assets and campaigns for your region, working closely with specific brands but also managing multi-brand campaigns for the region. An important channel within this market is Trade Shows, therefore you will provide expertise in the organisation, brand representation, and assets available for trade shows across the UK and Ireland. You will also attend trade shows across the country, helping with everything from setup to takedown and all of the brand work done in between. What you'll need to succeed Key to this role is your previous experience with trade shows. You will have prior experience in the logistics and organisation of participation at trade shows; everything from stand design to creating multi-band brochures for use at such events. You will also utilise your full marketing experience including creating campaign plans for product launches, managing the marketing budget, creating marketing assets, and supporting all marketing campaigns including advertising, email, social media and Google ads. You will liaise with agencies and third parties for execution, so prior experience managing suppliers is advantageous. Good experience with design tools in the Adobe suite such as InDesign or Photoshop is highly beneficial. This role will require travel and therefore you need to have a valid driving licence and be able to travel within the UK, occasionally with overnight stays. What you'll get in return You will receive a salary of between £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience, and benefits including 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. You will work in bright, friendly offices with driven and dedicated team members - with on-site parking and product demonstration facilities to go the extra mile with customers. This is a hybrid working environment, requiring 3 days a week at their Guildford offices.
